Love is grand
yet I stare down
at two empty hands
such emotion decieves me
yet i know
it will never leave me
my heart is on fire
i push it away
because i'm just too tired
i watch it burn to ashes
it hurts so much
and my sanity crashes
tears drop in pairs
as i wait for you
and gasp for sweet air
if you could just see me now
pieces of me are falling apart
you only let me down
tonight i am hiding
im scared to the point
i will ever let you find me
ah yes love is grand
but i say
let love me damned
