you've dictated me long enough
I'm finished giving you status
I'm done feeling how you feel
depressed, watched, unloved, fake

you've cost me relationships
you've cost me happiness
it's time i become my own person
and not your clone

if I'm left friendless-so be it
if everyone hates me-so be it
I've stopped caring
i only want out if this

go ahead and spread the rumors
go ahead and turn the school against me
I'll recover
I'll get through it

i know I'm better than that.

this is part two to my other poem, '...But Nothing Changes'. i guess it's about breaking away from that group of people and being your own person instead of allowing others to choose who you are.
