Untitled
Why is it,
I’m only good enough for you
In your bed?
Behind closed doors,
Where no one can see us.
Why am I,
Not good enough to show off?
To brag to your friends about.
When we all go out,
Why do you treat me like nothing?
Why won’t you,
Tell anyone about me?
Are you ashamed of me,
Or am I just not good enough for you?
Because I was everything you needed when you were hurting.
Why can’t you,
Accept that you love me?
For all the words that are left unspoken
I know how you feel,
But you won’t admit it.
Why do you,
Break me beyond repair?
Leave me to lie alone,
Crying every night in the dark.
Why did you throw me away?
