Superman's Lois Lane

I want to be
Superman's Lois Lane
A determined proud woman,
with a temptation that breaks,
The man of steel.
I want to see,
the city from above
With the sounds enveloping my ears,
and only the feel of the wind,
and his arms.
I want to try
To be independent,
but secretly know,
that without my Superman,
I am not complete.
I want to be
Superman's Lois Lane,
with my heart in my eyes,
and my soul in my heart,
to pierce the steel.
