Just Hang Up Already
Lying limp in her bed,
She listens to every word he says
The heat from the phone warms her face,
Over the rest of her body her blankets drape
With conversations endlessly flowing,
You can feel the relationship slowly growing,
But soon she realizes her warmth and comfort,
And her eyelids fall like the New York towers
He tells her to get some sleep,
Stubborn girl won’t hit the sheets
He gets frustrated with the fading girl,
Why is hanging up the end of the world?
