We talked about this
I sat there and listened
Every hurtful word you threw at me
As I sat there and died inside
It made you feel better
While it tore me apart inside
As you demeaned me
This pain grew and grew
As I sat there the pain grew to hurt
As I sat there and listened
As you spewed words at me like fire
Every word you said was like knives through me
As I left I noticed you smile while I was dead
Walking away I remembered every word you said
