Everyone makes mistakes.
The traffic while trying to get home,
The scratch you put on your mother’s car,
That test you forgot to study for,
The homework you turned in late.
The paint stains in the garage, that girl you never called.
Don’t Sweat It.
Anxiety creeps up your back,
Can’t control the Goosebumps, the flop sweat.
Hands shaking, Voice low.

Pictures broken, Words lost.
Her voice still ringing in your head.
Tonight we died.
Tomorrow, I will live.
Everything happens for a reason.

This piece was written after I lost one of my family members. It really made every little thing seem a little less important. This can include simple mistakes you make through the day, a fight you get in with your girlfriend or boyfriend, or any other mundane happenings through your day.
