"Balance is key to living a good life. Too much 'reality' will make you angry, too much dreaming will make you indifferent. You need dreams to live better and life to accomplish dreams =]" - Ms.Nada (my spanish teacher)

He called her name.
An angel to be.
She declined.
Returning to earth,
knowing that there where people that need her there.
Need her love,
honesty,
compassion,
trust.
A mother,
a sister,
an aunt to many.
She cannot outlive her children,
but she shall live to see her children succeed.
Live into old age.
Live until it is her turn to be taken care of.
Is it too much to ask that my mother live forever?
I guess it is.
But for now i shall love her for the days i have with her.
Everyday is a precious gift.
A blessing.
So everyday i let her know that i lover her.
So that if this is to be that fateful day
she knows that i love her
and i know she loves me in return.
No matter how stubborn or loud she may be.
I will allways love my mother dearest

I wrote this poem after my mom had a stroke. It basically served to tell her how I felt on that day and to let her know how much I love her.
