Dose of Serenity

The wind seems to whisper, and the water trickles on shore.

The easy breeze, the irresistible waves, the sun and the seagulls all
effortlessly compose a lullaby.

Soft caramel sand soothes my skin, and reminds me not to move.

Stay here forever.

It’s impossible to think of anything else in the presence of one of life’s presents.

I could not stay this beautiful. Even if I tried.

Alone on this filthy, old, gray train I try to recall exactly how it felt:

The warm toasty sunrays dancing on my cool skin, the cold sweet iced tea,

the people next to me.

There was no reason not to smile. Now I can’t find one.
