Once there was a time
When a tree was a forest
A house was a palace
And a snow bank was a mountain

Once there was a time
When a smile said “I love you”
A laugh was a celebration
And a quarrel was a war

Once upon a time...
A little meant a lot
And a lot meant a little

But those are days gone by.

I like this poem.  I'm not sure I understand it... I think it might be about childhood, but I wonder...
