Reaching You
Waiting for the sun to slowly rise,
see that fire dancing furiously in your eyes.
Watching as the waves crash strongly in,
through my being I can feel your wind.
Tumbling under the sea inhaling still,
with cold harsh water, my lungs, they fill.
Freezing the blood within my lonely veins,
salt in my body leaving rough dark stains.
Staring up toward the surface, its glimmering light,
still shining through as my soul joins yours in flight.
Souring high, the sun now sets at its brightest glow.
As close to your dancing fire, as I could ever go.
