Why Did You Pretend?

The pain is slowly killing me.
The constant looks, the fights, I don’t know what to think.
Dying slowly is just too hard.
Everyday afraid of your wild card.
Just pull the trigger.
Shoot me in the heart.
I want this to be over, but it’s just about to start.
I know that you don’t want me.
I know you never did.
So why did you pretend?
