There is pain in silence
Sorrow in the need to wait
And anger in the regret
Of seeing all too late
There is light in darkness
A truth felt from within
A path way through the longing
Yet nowhere to begin
There is pain in silence
A burning of mistake
There is warmth approaching
And ashes in its wake
Creation and destruction
On the endless road we wind
There is joy and sadness
Existing both in time
