Ethnic Makeup

I get my foundation from the French Borders to Africa Tribes
Eyes lined from my Indian heritage, concealed by my Native American relatives
My perfume smells of ripe clovers of my Irish backdrop
Blush from my fair great grandmother and eyes from my dark great grandfather
I wear this makeup daily; it’s called the hapa collection
But when I don’t, when I try to blend in
It’s not makeup, it’s make believe
