At The End Of The Day, What is Life?

It’s so funny how life passes us by
And we don’t realize how much we’ve changed.
A little girl wanting to be a ballerina,
But changes her mind to becoming a singer
We have been tricked, and alienated
Taking for granted what they have been offered,
Trying to understand why life has to be so hard
We have to grab it, understand it, want it, be it, learn it,
Own it, try it, and maybe define it.
From day to day, and night to night I won’t go down without a fight.
You cant’ stop me but I can stop myself
I am me, you are you
Don’t get it twisted
We’re meant to be different
Don’t let negativity and material things define who you are
You must think you’re fly just cruising around in your brand new car

one of my close friend is a poet and she really inspired me to write a poem because its something about poems that just catches my attention and wants to strive for more.
