" No one can told you back besides yourself " MaKayla Claymore class of 2013

The time has finally come to say goodbye
It’s our time to perform the last concert for them
It’s our time to let the last note be captured as another memory
It’s our time to share this last moment with them
It’s our time as one band, one family, one heart beat, to make this everything

The roads of the past were filled with twist and turns
We struggled sometimes, but Mr. Mark, and Mr. Ferguson taught us to fight,
And we won every day, because we were in it together.

The worthwhile things in life take work
Sometimes the meaning we forget, of honor, pride, music, & love
It takes special people like our band directors to push us to think as one
It takes special people like Mr. Mark and Mr. Ferguson to become more than a band director, but a family member
Thanks for sticking with us as time went on

Just remember that our love will always come from our hearts
Just remember that you will always be the beating heart of the Tri-Valley Band
Just remember that we are grateful that you were our directors, there’s no doubt about that!

I feel so proud to have shared five years of performing on the stage with you two
When I’ve gotten lost in the music, I see only one band, one family; I feel only one heart beat
When the concert ends I am sure to walk off slowly for I am afraid that I will lose the feeling all too soon
But I know the feeling will never leave me. Because it’s a memory that will never disappear

When the last note is played tonight and the faint clapping grows into a thunderous commotion
And people rise to their feet to stand. I will be standing among the crowd clapping, with a smile on my face and tears falling from my eyes.

Standing for the best band directors of them all

It’s our time to say goodbye
It’s our last time to be one band, one family, one sound, one heartbeat
I can’t promise that there won’t be heartbreak, and I can’t promise that there won’t be tears because there will be.

The one thing I can promise though is that Mr. Mark and Mr. Ferguson will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Two band directors, one band, one family, one sound, one heartbeat.

This story is for my two very special band directors.Even though this is their last year. They should know before they leave that the love the band has given them over the years has come from the heart.

They should always know that they are more than our band directors, they are and always will be our family members.
