Love Poem
He tells his monumental love for her,
In his imagination
His confidence is a grim beast
It has a terrifying snarl that dooms his romantic flame
She does not see his burning want for her, his craze
But he cannot tell of his intense love for her
He cannot tell her bright smile, her gentle face, or her soft lips.
His confidence is a sharp blade,
Giving death to his love, his trickster
It is suffocating him, he is obliterated
He cannot emerge from this jagged, dark cave
His confidence has faded his burning love
