Morning After
She lies there, silently
A beautiful goddess, not yet awakened
Skin glimmering in the faint light that seeps through
The scent of our passion still lingering in the air
She stirs slowly from her slumber
Not yet aware of the world and the troubles that it holds
Lifting her head slightly, she rests it on my arm
Hair falling perfectly around her shoulders
She meets my gaze
Filling my mind with her magnificent aura
Her deep eyes captivating my every thought
A visage moulded by the angels themselves
My hand brushes lightly over her cheek
Taking in its silky, warm feel
She stares at me lovingly
Her smile melting my soul
Leaning forward
I kiss her sweet, tender lips
