Mysterious Boy
I fell in love
Quickly, hard
I was crazy
For
The mysterious boy
Who always
Sat on the bus
By himself
I was the new girl
In that strange world
Of love, womanhood
All that mattered was
That boy talked to me
And he kept talking
Friendship blossemed
Like wildflowers in the spring
My life will
Never be the same
When that mysterious boy
Said I was his,
And he all mine
Love quickly
Sprung out
And blossmed
Smiles were often
And laughter the same
All because that mysterious boy
And I
Were celebrating
Our 50th anniversary
When we were married
Once more
Smiles were present
Through the years
Our childrens laughter
And all because
Of that mysterious boy
Whom I met 67 years ago
(True love never ends)
