Ocean Eyes
The last time I saw you we said goodnight,
I held you close, held you tight,
we took a moment, admired the night sky,
as I realized I would rather die,
than live my life without you,
I wish dreams really did come true,
because I wished upon a million stars,
that you were close, never far,
when you're away I am waiting,
but it feels like I am suffocating,
without your love,
symbolizing the purity of two white doves.
Like cupids bow and arrow you struck me,
just know that I'll forever be,
lost in the depth of your blue eyes, I disappear,
knowing I will never tell you this, you will never hear,
that I love you, forever and for always but you don't see,
you don't even tell me you miss me,
even though I miss you,
is this true?
have you gone,
and moved on?
because I haven't moved a single inch,
since you left, awaiting the pinch,
that brings me out of this dream,
so I can once again see the gleam,
in your enchanting eyes,
more blue than the ocean or sunlit sky.
