The Healthy Baby Girl

She lies there next to her mother,
for a few seconds,
she can’t say a word,
she can’t open her eyes,
the doctors take her back,
they clean her off,
they send her back,
she looks up,
she opens her beautiful eyes,
she starts to smile,
lets call her Jayden,
her mother says,
they get sent home,
she is put on a heart monitor,
she lived past it,
now she is happy as can be,
she is three,
and a healthy happy baby girl.
