Locked in the Dark

I am surrounded
By utter obscurity.
Filled with shadows
And complete emptiness.
There is nothing
But blankness
And dark swallowing me.
No way out,
No key to free me.
I am pulled into the
Black hole
Of night.
I’m a light
That was once seen,
But now lost,
for eternity.
