Instantly, I thought it was you.
Sadly, it was not true. I had yet to peruse,
I felt a longing to pursue, your affection, your attention… your love.
But as many have said, I believe its true…
When one door closes, another opens anew…
The world can test you, and cause you stress…
and even mess with what’s left of your sense.
We teens have it tough, as hormones run amuck…
Perhaps we have run out of luck?
Me? I’ll take the door, dashing through… hoping for something new…
Someone new.
Being a teenager is hard.
