Today it’s a calm, sunny spring day
Tomorrow it’s a storm like never before
Yesterday was windy enough to blow you away
Next week it will be so cold you’ll stay indoors
Texas can never make up its mind
Except for in the town of Cleburne
There seems to be a bubble around us
One that doesn’t seem to be of concern
Weather seems to skip our city
Or form right over us
We miss it or get the worst
But we don’t make a fuss
Whether it’s raining or snowing
We’re just happy it’s happening
We’ll sit at our windows and watch
The falling snowflakes or crackling lightning
But whatever is going on in Cleburne
The Texas weather never makes up its mind
