As I draw in another deep breath, I pick up the suitcase and walk away
Turn around once more, tell this house goodbye
I have to leave before you come home
I don’t want to see your face and tears in your eyes
I love you but I am no good, I will break your heart
I will tear you down, piece by piece
And make you think you need me
I can always be found in a place in your heart
And in your mind as that smiling memory
But as for life, I will hurt you, and I can’t stand to see you hurt
I will leave you and let you go…
All because I love you
