He Should Have Stopped

He wanted in, I wanted out.
He had a smile, I had a pout.
I couldn't think of how to say no.
He pushed me down and he wouldn't let go.
He wanted love, I wanted a friend.
He told me lies, I played his pretend.
I don't know how he could do this to me.
He was a lie, and I couldn't see.
He wanted in, I wanted out.
