He was something every girl would dream of... Loving, Kind and cute

He was something every mother would adore... Respectful, polite and cute

He was something every father would approve of

He was my boyfriend

Knifes of betrayal plunged into my back... Made it hard to live

Then he came alone making me believe I had a reason to live

He slowly inched out every knife until all seemed to be good

He said he loved me he said he cared he said he'd love me... Past my scares

But when I thought everything was alright.. Then he took that knife of lies...

And took my life.

I was inspired to write this piece after me and my boyfriend broke up. I was having trouble trusting and believing him when he said he really loved me. I used the metaphor of knifes to portray different things people have done to me. And in the end he takes a knife of lies and kills me because he was the one person I let in and he killed me with the lies, the lies he swore he would never tell.
