UnHeard
He says he's angry
but it's only I, who sees the hurt
He says he's in a hole
Don't think I wont try and dig him out
Music saves him
There's a few soundtracks to his life
Yet, he's trapped, a puppet
To everyone around him
His parents refuse to accept him
An assumed thief, the trouble maker, the reject
But what I see, it's different
Oh, he's beautiful
He thinks his past follows him
He says he's screwed up real bad
I want him to leave it behind, I wasn't there
Now his future is clear and its there, because I'm in it
So, he lays next to me tonight
My head on his chest, I'll listen
The sound of that beating fills my ears
The soundtrack to MY life
That song is unheard to everyone, except me.
