Sitting in class
The clock ticks by
And I chew my pen
Fidgeting with my nails
When did class begin?
Feeling restless and tired,
I look up at the board
Why do we need to learn calculus anyways?
Seriously, it’s a snore.
This class goes by as slow as a snail
School just needs to be out
I stare out the window at a brick wall
What is the teacher even talking about?
I glance again at the clock
Any excuse for this lecture to end
Only a minute later?!
When is summer again?
Now I don’t mean to complain
But I just have to speak my mind
Who would want to learn this anyways?
I’m not some kind of Albert Einstien.
