Paradise
Green as far as the eye can see
Blue as blue as blue can be
Rolling hills and knee high grass
A total lack of cement and glass
A sunset reflected on calming blue
Beaches sand and blankets too
Warmth and cool air
Lost in a magic hour stare
Trees tall and bushes low
The river keeps a constant flow
A deer in clearing catches the eye
A quick glance and it runs on by
Miles in every way
Lighten by the clear day
A mountain defiant against ground
A man defiant against former found
Near or far and here or there
Oceans spray or mountain air
Sands tan or grasses green
When day fades all is not seen
So when light flickers or fire dies
Close your eyes and find your paradise
