If a life depended
On hellos and goodbyes,
This world would be quite empty
Yet full at the same time.

If medication
Was a dose of English;
The tongue a syringe.
Then arms would be quite solid;
Never stuck with the needle.

To die by silence,

a strange phenomenon,
if possible, would be quite common.

Quite

Common.

The author's comments:
This poem is about how it hurts when someone gives you the "silent treatment". And how if silence could kill you, it would be a common cause of death.
I was inspired by experience, during Spanish class.
