Passion
Is that what drives us?
Gives us the momentum
To propel through life.

Shoot forward like a rocket
Jet engines ignited.
Flames bursting outward,
Firelight against a dark sky.

Stars shining in space
Beyond our comprehension.
As we soar through the universe,
Our small galaxy spiral.

Formed from spontaneous combustion
Energies colliding and fusing
A world evolved from stardust,
Alike to our endings.

From ashes to ashes.
The remnants of fire,
The flames that threw us forward
Into the mystery of life.

Driven by the need
To live with love
And realize our hearts
Burst with passion
At each mornings rise.
