"Once the game is over, the king and the pawn go back in the same box" - Italian Proverb

With my hand in a fist I took a step
Toe first, so that if I got wet
And the water was cold
I wouldn’t be drenched
But with only my toe
I wasn’t fully entrenched
In the feeling of the water
So I took a step more
Apprehension took o’re
But I stayed where I was standing
By going back
Ill never win
I must continue expanding
So further I went, till I was waist deep
And second thoughts came a knockin’
“You never amount, you can’t even count go home and stop your rockin’”
But I’ve come this far
So I must go more
And I waded till I was over my head
The travel was worth it
I have finally won
And NOW I can go back to bed
