You snuck up on me
Your feelings hidden away
You had never entered my thoughts
But now you've taken them over


The way you smile at me
It changed my life
I never knew someone could care
Until you
I never knew I could feel this way
Until you


Reassurance finds me
When your presence is gone
Your lingering love
Keeps me at peace


Your words feel like they've never been said
And like everything you do
You do just for me


You're not like them
Not at all, not at all
Your smile puts them all to shame
Freckle after freckle dances across your face
Just for me, only for me
Your laugh has mesmerized me
I'll never be the same, never the same
