the streets shine
from the fresh rain
that has just f
a
l
l
e
n
the stars sparkle above,
and light the night sky.
the streets are quiet,
like the countryside.
in the distance,
i hear a river
moving s l o w l y.
the soft wind caresses
the tree branches,
and they sway back and forth.
the neighboring offices
are now dark and empty,
the entire city is silent.
