What is Meant to be

If roses are meant to be red
And violets to be blue,
What’s the meaning of the weakness
That I feel everytime I look at you?
If my world came crashing down
And burned into many flames,
The flash of your smile alone
Would instantly make me whole again.
If you love me for the person I am
As well as everything that I am not,
It would be nearly impossible to forget
The eminence you have endlessly brought.
If we are separated, torn apart by fate
You must know that there isn’t a soul that can take
The warm and safe spot deep within my heart,
For it will never allow anything to keep us apart.
