The night sky
And I greedily
Wish upon it

I was blind
So the tears falling
From your eyes
And the pain
On your face
Couldn’t be seen
By my eyes
I wish
I was deaf
So I didn’t have to hear
You voice and the agony
Within it
I wish
I was numb
So I didn’t feel hatred
For what I did to you
For how I hurt you
I wish
I could speak to you
And tell you how much
I can’t stand myself
