Love Wars
This is War;
Storms vast but black as death
Breathes down my neck.
The danger of the dreadful love can
do to a human heart;
Easy as glass, love can crack,
and make you quiver.
It’s obvious of what you’ve done, death
at the touch, your love is like poison, sticking
me down as you stare at my lifeless body.
My voice, echoes as a butterfly soars
through your memories, you remember
the danger did love make you see
though eyes like yours.
Glass cracked, this war
has just begun…
