Firemen…
Sacrificing all they have for others.
As they move like angelic warriors,
into the burning brick building.
Slaying Satin’s flames
with God’s given water.
Hearts pounding, feet scurrying,
time lapsing…
A mist of overspray floats eerily in the air.
At last,
good triumphs over evil
as the fearless fireman hauls the kid from the inferno.
Another family can sleep at ease,
knowing their child is safe.
All thanks to our heroes
saving the day.
Everyday.
