Sea Dreams
The ocean breathes salty,
It roars and grinds
Its sandy teeth,
The sound of its growls,
Lulls me to sleep
My eyes close
But I wake up on the terrible trembling ocean
The waves so wide, the waves so tall
The water looks like it could eat a skyscraper for breakfast
Or maybe the building is just a Hors d'œuvre. And I?
I am simply a small snack for the snarling sea
My boat capsizes and the liquid ice engulfs me in a hug
I wake from my watery nightmare,
With my eyes swimming in their own salty ocean
