a light fog hovers
over the forgotten forest
winter
pushed aside
for spring to change the trees back to emeralds
and for the flowers to take
r
o
o
t
and the darkness to disappear
the quiet disguises the soft moonlight
painted in purples and blues
embedded in the shimmering sky
while the violet hyacinth s w a y s gracefully
like fingers flowing across the keys of a piano
a petal gently floats
upwards
twirling
to match the lavender sky
