"To talk without thinking is like shooting without aiming"

I am so tired of waiting,
Waiting for that single day,
Where you walk up to where the world ends,
I wonder what you will say?
Because beyond the horizon is a place so unknown,
Where no matter how far you walk, your heart never begins to grow,
Anger fires back as I just watch you walk over everyone,
I cant wait till you understand your mistakes, but I think we've all had it, I'm just a little lost in the sun.
This perfect moment you seem to drift away from your peace of mind,
Sending all the wrong messages, once again there isn't a thing I'll find,
Deep down in, inside your soul,
I've lost any clue of how you could let go,
Of everything you had, it is slipping through your hand, but we all know,
No matter how hard we try and cling on to you, your love will never show.
But when we're gone, I know you'll begin to see,
That all your life, all you wanted was me,
Someone to listen and hold your head up high,
Even when I was so scared, I did all I could do not to cry,
And forgive you now?
You think I should?
After the lies everyone told me? I am not quite sure if I ever could,
And I hold back all I've wanted to say,
But it is time now where I step out of the shadows, out from the grey.

The author's comments:
I titled this piece "Waiting" because in my life there seems like there is an ample amount of disappointment towards everyone. This poem is based off of my daily life.
