Love was just a word, I thought.
A word with meaning-none.
My soul was silenced; my heart was frozen.
My strength mistaken for sadness;
My weakness mistaken for strength.
Love for friends and love for family.
Love and Compassion and weakness.
Weakness and trust and pain.
This was my conclusion of ‘Love’.
It was weakness, vulnerability, pain.
I lived with shields do strong and
Barriers blocking the beauty of Love.
Then you came and broke my barriers; seiged my shields.
You protected my weakness and gave me love.
You made me vulnerable and I didn’t mind.
You took my vulnerability and silenced me.
Dependant and weak and in love, you had me. I was delusional and blind. I felt safe.
Then you crushed me hard and proved me right from the start.
