unnamed
It’s raining and it’s cold
There’s a story and it just must be told
I’ve been through the worst
And I will tell you this
The one thing I miss
Is the lingering tenderness
Of your fatal kiss,
There’s a pain in my heart
And it feels a little like this
Falling in love and letting him go
And it becomes too late before
You honestly know.
And I’ve never been to Alaska
To know my heart is cold
And I know you don’t understand my sadness
Just know all I can see is blackness.
