One of Few
I’m one of few
A floundering soul on the brink of extinction
Yet I’m not hunted
I plead with people to listen to what I have to say
Yet they turn from me
I encourage and love
Yet still they hear not
I grow stronger each day like a flower in the spring
Yet the times I live in sometimes cause me to wilt
Still I remember my purpose and carry on
Trekking the road ahead, knowing my reward ahead
For someday I will enter the holy gates
And stand in front of my master as He says,
“Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
