Lingering echoing
Singing and swinging
Dancing, romancing
Bringing the shivering.
Thinking is haunting,
Remembering everything.
Kissing and feeling,
Loving and shaking,
Living and risking
Something for nothing.
Recalling the fleeting
Embracing and clutching—


As I try to forget.
