Carefree Past
What ever happened
To the care free days.
Where time meant nothing
And all problems just melted away.
When the greatest day of your life
Was just one shiny penny away.
Every person you met was your best friend
And they were there to stay.
Back when cloths were unimportant
And by the end of the day had a new stain.
You were invincible and would never die
Even large hits wouldn’t give you pain.
Now things are different, unfair, and cruel
The smallest things can destroy friends.
Pain is always there, just always covered up
We wonder why we can’t just go back around the bend.
Back to the carefree days
Where friends were friends forever
Problems were nothing and pain was non existent
But those days are gone for ever and ever.
