This poem is particularly inspired by some philosophy I've read, including Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged" and Albert Camus' "The Myth of Sisyphus." You can read the poem down either the collumns or continuously horizontally for meaning. Each time I read it, I continue to find multiple facets of meanings behind the words!
