A simple promise,
How hard is it to keep?
A simple lie,
And it breaks into pieces,
I used to believe you,
You promised everything,
But you never went through with them,
A promise is a promise,
And a lie is a lie,
Stop crossing your fingers,
I can see everything,
You promised me,
And you never promised you’d keep it.
