Shoes
I bought shoes from a store.
I put them on.
I look at the ground I walk on.
I see dirt and rocks.
I think about people who walk with no shoes.
Their feet are stabbed with dirt and rocks.
They have to wrap their feet around in garbage
Just to stop their blood from dripping.
While I walk with luxury
Other people walk in poverty.
Even though I walk in the same world as the poor
My feet will never have to bare the pain of the floor.
